2008 Fair Director Items
Fair Directors - On-line Items to Complete:
To prepare your official party to travel to the Intel ISEF 2008 presented by Agilent
Technologies, you will be using an on-line process to register Official Party
members, to certify finalists, and to define the type and
amount of payment to be submitted. You will also provide information about the
travel plans of your Official Party and submit your Fair
Operational Questionnaire and Affiliated Fair SRC Report
via this on-line process. Please go to
http://www.societyforscience.org/isef/aff_fairs/aff_ofplogin.asp to login using
your Fair ID and assigned passcode to begin the process. Instructions for Official
Party Registration can be found at
http://www.societyforscience.org/isef/aff_fairs/aff_ofpsubmit.asp.
The fair director can register a maximum of 11 official party members as defined below.
- Individual Finalists - a maximum of two; must be 9-12th graders under the age
of 21. Per the Affiliation Agreement, your fair must pay all travel and project
shipping expenses for these finalists.
- One Team Project - Team not to exceed three members; a minimum of one
finalist representing the team; must be 9-12th graders under the age of 21. Per the
Affiliation Agreement, your fair must pay all travel and project shipping expenses for
these finalists.
- Student Observers - a maximum of two; must be students in grades
8-12 and must have participated in a 2008 affiliated fair.
- Accompanying Adult-in-Charge - a minimum of one adult chaperone
(required). Per the Affiliation Agreement, your fair must pay all travel expenses
for your Adult-in-Charge.
- Other Official Party - a maximum of three individuals who may be
teachers, parents, other adults. Substitutions cannot be made on-site without a Fair
Director or Accompanying Adult-in-Charge present at time of registration.
Registration fee is $100 per person if pre-registered by April 30, 2008, or $125 on-site for each official party member up to 11. Fairs may request additional official party members and pay $150 per registrant before April 30, 2008, or $200 on-site. (You MUST receive approval from Society for Science & the Public to register more than 11 Official Party Members.)

PLEASE ENSURE THAT OFP REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION OF FINALISTS AND FINALIST PAPERWORK
IS RECEIVED BY SSP 12 CALENDAR DAYS AFTER YOUR FAIR OR BY APRIL 11, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST.
OFFICIAL PARTY HOUSING INFORMATION
Housing is again being arranged via Passkey, a computerized housing registration system.
NO HOUSING INFORMATION IS REQUIRED SEPARATE FROM ARRANGEMENTS YOU MAKE WITH PASSKEY.
